Our client is based in Tipperary and is a diversified mechanical engineering company.
We are currently recruiting for an innovative HR Generalist/Specialist to join their team.

ROLE OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES

*First point of contact for all aspects of HR in the company
*Policy development and documentation; ensure HR policies and procedures are updated in line with current legislation.
*Lead in the development of Human Resources, employee handbook, contracts, forms, reports, etc.
*Manage full 365 cycle of recruitment when needed and manage the process for new hires including inductions etc
*Create, develop and maintain data for all aspects of HR and proactive approach to monitoring & analysing all data related to HR using the company Time Management System
*Inputting job hours into the Time Management System and cover payroll duties when needed.
*First point of contact for all trainees and apprentices within the company and organise same including all paperwork and recruitment of apprentices etc
*First point of contact in the grievance, disciplinary process & all other internal HR processes and effectively manage all in a confidential manner.
*Effectively coordinate all administration relating to employee lifecycle.
*Liaise with the H&S department when needed and coordinate training if needed.

REQUIREMENTS

*Ideally 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
*Experience in all aspects of employee relations and a strong understanding of employment law including management of Performance, Absenteeism, Disciplinary and Grievance cases where applicable.
*Recruitment and selection experience and experience of Payroll
*Ideally Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) and CIPD qualification is a plus.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and excellent people skills
*Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
*Self-motivated and driven
*Team-oriented approach with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across all departments.
*Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
