Team Description
- The Online Partnerships Group (OPG) uses our portfolio of product solutions to help online publishers grow their businesses.
- The OPG Learning & Development team creates content specifically for the Online Partnerships Group (OPG) organisation.

We are looking for a professional Instructional Designer to design and develop learning and practising experiences.
- The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner.
- You will be responsible for designing and developing impactful learning programs and scaled global product education, with an emphasis on e-learning course development and Learning Management System management.
- The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner.
- You will also serve as a system support specialist, answering customer questions as they come.
- This will include managing the system architecture and content deployment within the system to provide a good user experience and allow for consistent data and reporting.
- You will work in a fast-paced dynamic environment that demands high quality, creativity and attention to detail.
- You will partner with a range of stakeholders to design and deliver best-in-class training solutions.

- Create engaging learning activities (including live and elearning materials) and compelling course content that enhances knowledge retention and transfer including exercises and activities to build on the learning process
- Maintaining content structure and identifying when content needs to be reviewed/updated including CIMS tooling documentation across the Training Coordination space, updating as needed
- Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience's training needs
- State instructional end goals and create content that matches them and communicate this to key stakeholders
- Visualise instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
- Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods to all learning materials and activities
- Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc) and upload, manage, and organise training content created in-house to the LMS
- Support end user issues on the LMS
- Decide on the criteria used to judge learner's performance and develop assessment instruments
- Maintain project documentation and course folders; collaborating with the OPG Learning & Development team

- Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology
- Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
- Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
- Lesson and curriculum planning skills
- Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System (Intellum preferred)
- Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) and ability to storyboard
- Excellent listening and communication skills (written and verbal). Strong judgement with a positive attitude
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and on multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Ideally Bachelor's degree in Business, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience is required
- Knowledge of product support models and troubleshooting steps
- HTML or related coding experience preferred
- Knowledge of learning development lifecycles
