Adecco are excited to be working with our client who is currently recruiting for a Full Time Maintenance Technician in Shannon due to exponential growth!
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 4:00pm Friday 8:00am until 3:00pm
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician with experience of working within a manufacturing environment. The position offers the possibility of working with a range of machinery in a day-based role, along with a permanent contract.
Ongoing training will further enhance the successful applicant's machinery knowledge.
Person
The successful applicant will have at least a technical certification in an Electrical, Mechanical or related field, or a senior trade qualification, or a National Diploma in Mechanics
It is essential that the person is experienced in this role within a manufacturing environment. Being a good team worker, and having good communication and interpersonal skills are also a necessity.
Responsibilities
The operation, corrective maintenance and continuous improvement of the mechanical and electrical machinery in use at the facility.
Ensuring maintenance is carried out in compliance with relevant requirements and internal specifications.
Keeping maintenance records in an orderly and efficient manner.
Provide necessary technical support on machine breakdowns in a time efficient manner such as to minimise down times
Generally assist in keeping work practices safe, reporting potential issues to the Manager and maintaining good communications with OC and Production managers.
