We are currently seeking a Senior Data Engineer to work on Asset Management's Equity Trading Platform to support Equity Advisors business specific requirements. This is a hands-on role where you will understand the requirements, contribute to designs and develop specific product features including model and provision datasets, develop consumption interfaces, build reusable components and resilient cloud-based services, provide insights etc. for our Investment Professionals.

The Expertise We're Looking For

Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
Expertise in data analysis
Experience in SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning
Exposure to Agile development practices
The Skills You Bring

Familiarity with logical data modeling and relational database design
Previous use of Agile or Scrum methodology
Proficiency with a source control system
Whilst the role is database focused, experience in any of the following would be a distinct advantage.
Object-Oriented Software development with an understanding of associated development languages, specifically Java and/or Python, Spring boot
Working experience with some or all of the following: AWS, Containerization, associated build and deployment CI/CD pipelines, Lambda development.
Design of REST APIs and an understanding of microservice architectures and twelve factor application development
