PR Assistant

The Candidate:

-Ideally have 6 to 12 months experience in a PR Agency or In-House PR Role
-Experience: PR experience in a similar or associated sector
-Third level graduate, with Post Graduate in PR /Communications would be beneficial but not mandatory

Roles & Responsibilities:

The role requires to be a talented, enthusiastic and pro-active Intern whose, principal accountability is to provide support in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day business/press office

Day-to-day the role involves:
*Management of press and influencer list updates, support with the identifying new targets
*Monitoring influencer results, as well as, traditional media, ezines and TV for brand coverage and key competitor activity.
*Reporting responsibility - creation of a weekly brand report, and regular sharing of measurement metrics (Print/Ezine: media evaluations, Influencer Engagement: engagement/views and activated influencers)
*Handling press product mailouts & creative mailer send outs
*Assist the in-house team with day-to-day press activity, media event planning activities etc
*Logistics responsibility - liaison with and ordering and securing product from distribution centres managing a stock and budget tracker re same
*Administration- ordering and managing stock levels of stationary, responsible for organising post, taxis and couriers, supplier engagement and payment management.
*Press Trip Organisation - flights and accommodation any requirements during the trip to include car and taxi transfers. Main point of contact for 3rd party suppliers for all said trips
*Ensure we have strong presence across Beauty Awards, Editorial features, exclusives, cover opportunities where possible, working to the Head of Communications for any proactive and reactive requests
*Work closely and collaboratively alongside the Commercial and Trade Marketing teams, developing presentations/media coverage that delivers the best output for the business
*Ensure our Commercial and Trade marketing team members are abreast of PR activities, working closely and in collaboration to ensure we are close to any business needs.
*You would be responsible for your own live projects within the team, once principal accountabilities are all mastered
*Management of company Tools to ensure the above can be carried out - MIM: Influencer Engagement; My Market Insight: Traditional & Ezine reading; Opera/Salsify: Asset source; Netbase: Measure consumer sentiment, Market Place: for Supplier payment management
What are key highlights of this role?
In line with International strategy and working with the Head of Communications & the Communications Assistant, CPD, will support the CPD Division portfolio of brands in Ireland.

*Responsibility gained via the organisation of the day to day running of press office
*Organisation of a pre-series product tracker, offering the opportunity to work with marketing and logistics team members
*Support with ad hoc virtual retailer eventing and media partnerships
*Budget support and responsibility experience in raising and tracking Purchase Order numbers
*Prepare monthly retail social media evaluation reports, along with weekly updates on status of coverage YTD
*Prepare monthly coverage update reports, along with access to L'Oreal media and influencer measurement
*Supporting role in the syndication of product drops to media, influencers and retail social media contacts
*Help to organise virtual press launches, with the Communications & Retail Social Media Manager
*Liaison with suppliers including, but not limited to, printing, couriers and other transportation partners, stationery providers etc.
