Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Principal IT Security Analyst in Cork.

This is a permanent role. Excellent benefits are on offer. Salary is 100k plus. You will be well rewarded!

Currently this role is remote and after Covid occasional trip to Cork is required.

This is a broad Information Security role and requires analyses and broad overall understanding of Information Security.

This is an individual contributor role. You will be part of an international team of three. You will work with other corporate teams globally as well.

There are three main aspects to this role:

- Security Program based on the NIST CSF - Identify, Detect, Protect, Respond and Recover. Compliance and standards.
- Vulnerability management program for corporate and cloud infrastructure including containers and services.
- Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) tools (Splunk) - ingesting data(Forwarders, HTTP Event Collectors, add-ons), troubleshooting Splunk Installation.


Skills required:

*Experience working on your own, self starter
*Experience with NIST CSF
*Extensive experience in Information Security
*Experience in developing content in Splunk - searches, alerts (including POC and tuning), dashboards, Apps.
*Experience in Information Security analyses and understanding of the following: Email Security and running phishing campaign, Incident Management, System and network security, Experience in Network Penetration testing
*Experience with AWS cloud including appreciation Docker, Kubernetes etc.
*Experience of Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) tools (Splunk) - ingesting data(Forwarders, HTTP Event Collectors, add-ons), troubleshooting Splunk Installation
*Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools and strong technical understanding and experience assessing vulnerabilities and identifying weaknesses in multiple operating system platforms, database, and application servers.
*Experience in Security evaluation of third party tools.
*Effective communicator, both in verbal and written communications to business and technical audiences
*Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline and industry certificates
