Receptionist/ Administrator

Adecco are delighted to be working exclusively with our East Cork client on their new vacancy for a Receptionist/ Administrator.



This is a fulltime, permanent position with a salary on offer of €30,000 for the right candidate. This position is an important role for the company as you will act as the first point of contact for visitors and liase regularly with their clients, dealing with anything from general queries to complex delivery issues.



Given the nature of the role, we are seeking bright, outgoing candidates with excellent communication skills who thrive in a fast paced environment and have the ability to work on their own initiative with experience of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.



The role will involve but not be limited to;

Answering the switchboard

Order processing

Dealing with couriers/ hauliers

Resolving customer complaints and queries

Word processing

Filing- Both manual and electronic

Checking orders are processed correctly on the system

General administrative duties

Transferring calls/ Taking messages

Liasing with internal departments

Signing visitors in and out of building

Ensuring covid guidelines are being followed

Assisting with payroll queries

Organising training



The ideal candidate should have;

Experience in office administration and reception

Proven experience of processing orders and ensuring all are accurate online

High level of detail accuracy

Excellent numerical/ verbal reasoning

Good administrative skills

Strong professional and pleasant mannerism

Background in a manufacturing environment beneficial
