Our client is currently looking for an SDR to join their team. The role is to employ proactive, outbound prospecting techniques to key decision makers within target sectors to build qualified sales pipeline and set appointments for our sales team.
This is an exciting role with huge scope for progression as the company grows.
Responsibilities will include:
* Research, identify and reach out to prospective business customers.
* Engage with prospective customers by email, LinkedIn, phone and at conferences.
* Qualify prospective customers and schedule calls for the sales team, ensuring a seamless hand-off of appointments.
* Assess and qualify inbound leads and assign to the sales team.
* Set an agreed number of appointments per week.
* Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs (calls, emails, meetings).
* Ongoing ownership of key metrics and templates related to outbound sales activities.
* Record the status of all leads and opportunities and all related activity in our CRM system.
* Provide feedback on call experiences to ensure continuous improvement.
* Keeping on top of administrative tasks - updating CRM, reporting on success of outreach campaigns.
Experience and Skills:
* 1+ years of experience in a similar role such as SDR/Lead Gen.
* Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Highly organised and excellent attention to detail.
* Good time management, prioritisation, and multitasking abilities
* Demonstrate an energetic and flexible approach to the job.
* Be self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
* Experience of working to targets and deadlines.
* Strong team player.
* Confident, outgoing personality.
* Experience working with sales ennoblement tools - CRM system, outreach platform, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, prospecting database.
