The Role:
The successful candidate will lead, develop and grow Point of Care Ultrasound business. You will manage and build a high-performing Sales Team in order to achieve revenue targets across the product portfolio.Your role will be to drive the business, deliver sales growth, build relationships with all business partners and identify and
develop new profitable opportunities. The ultrasound business has a 32-county focus.

Basic Requirements:
* 5 Years+ experience in sales management, ideally in medical device sales.
* Proven experience managing and developing a high-performance sales team.
* Bachelor's degree in a related field.
* A relevant professional certification in Clinical Measurement / Ultrasonography or Point of Care ultrasound (POCUS) sales experience an
advantage.
* Knowledge and understanding of the HSE and Irish healthcare system in relation to sales and procurement
desirable.
* Ability to engage and build relationships with all stakeholders within and outside the organisation.
* Distributor / Manufacturer relationship management experience.
* Experience of growing market share by focusing on business solutions selling.
* Demonstrable ability to manage to P&L level.
* Ability to forecast and set business targets, goals and objectives.
* Ability to seek out attractive business opportunities and turn to commercial success.
* Product launch, territory planning and forecasting experience.
* Proven track record in coaching and giving feedback.
* Experience of reporting and presenting at senior level.
* Self-motivated & ambitious with a strong customer focus.
* Understanding and experience of Health Care Compliance, Public Procurement Practice, and ISO.
* Knowledge in cloud based and app based applications desirable.
* Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
* A clean, full driving license.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Distributor/Manufacturer Relationship
* Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with the Principals, ensuring that our strategies and customer
engagements are aligned.
* Ensure compliance with all partner agreements and regulations.
Sales Manager
* Investigate new business opportunities, which will create value, target customers and create demand for our
products.
* Proactively keep up to date with developments in the industry, looking for opportunities.
* Optimise new market opportunities.
* Develop strong, ethical business relationships with customers which ensures usage of our products.
Sales
* Show ownership and accountability in the execution of strategy for the POCUS Team.
* Guide the Sales Team to deliver agreed revenue / GP and profitability targets.
* Work with the Sales team to embed a High Performance culture which values continued professional development and personal accountability.

Marketing
* Understand the market dynamics and competition.
* Work with the Marketing Team in the development of market strategies and marketing communications.
* Develop and deliver profitable and sustainable marketing plans, appropriately using customer professional education.
* Provide direction to the team in developing local marketing initiatives that maximise effectiveness.
* Assist in the development and execution of promotional plans, clinical marketing presentations, tradeshow strategy,
health economic and reimbursement strategies, peer-to-peer programs, and general sales force support, observing
the principles of ethical business relationships.

Operations
* Work closely with the Head of Operations to optimise information flows between the POCUS and Operations teams
to enhance customer service levels, including inventory management and service levels.

Teamwork
* Facilitate and maintain a high performance sales culture, to ensure the achievement of business goals.
* Carry out performance reviews for the team, including annual appraisal and regular interim reviews. Establish KPIs
and set SMART objectives for the team in order to execute the agreed plan and strategy.
* Provide constructive and relevant feedback to the team on their performance from a KPI and behavioral perspective,
providing appropriate coaching and support where there are performance concerns.
* Develop the team's commercial awareness by coaching, motivating, involving and inspiring others, winning their trust, support and commitment.
* Empower others to achieve optimum results.
General
* Work with Finance Team on annual budget and forecasting processes.
* Ensure compliance with all HCC regulations.
* Collaborate and develop strong relationships with other departments.
* Expense and budget management.
* Provide input into PEI's tendering process as required.

Compensation Package:
80k+ basic and 20% bonus
Profit Share (equiv alent 3-4 weeks salary)
