Job Title: Sales Manager
Reports to: Director of Global Marketing
Location: Dublin


About the Role

The Sales Manager is responsible for managing the sales lifecycle of our direct channel student enrolments (from initial lead management, through application, enrolment, upsell or cross-sell, and then as alumni.) The role is responsible for the execution, measurement, improvement, and adoption of the direct sales processes and customer experience.
The Sales Manager will collaborate closely with the Marketing team to ensure
effective online lead generation and conversion and creation of marketing tools. This is an ideal opportunity for an Education Sales and Marketing professional. The post holder will be a mature and dynamic individual who can demonstrate their ability to grow our student recruitment through excellent customer service, high quality sales staff training and performance management. This role will line manage 14 sales agents, which
will grow to 20 in 2023.

Key Responsibilities
* To resolutely supervise the lead management process and ensure adherence and ongoing
enhancement of this process
* To promote highest levels of team response and customer service
* To hit annual revenue targets set for year, maximizing conversion rates and working towards
exceeding targets
* To understand market trends and proactively identify challenges and opportunities that may aid digital marketing efforts
* Provide leadership to maximise student recruitment and revenue growth potential to meet student targets within the strategic plan
* To motivate the team to meet revenue targets across each intake of the year.
* Ensure Education Advisors are familiar with all sources of information needed to fulfil their role.
* To hire, train, develop and support new team members and direct reports.
* To anticipate challenges to the projected sales cycle and help devise solutions.
* strategic business development to support sales teams with unlocking group sales
* To contribute to the development and implementation of new and existing processes within Zoho and other systems utilised by the company
* To deal effectively with challenges that arise during the recruitment process
* To Leverage CRM and Student Database to track, report, analyse and continuously improve on direct
sales channel performance
* To Analyse data to continuously generate actionable insights that leads to improvement in our sales
processes, conversions, arrival rates and priorities
* To hone the KPIs and performance management metrics for the iheed Education Advisors
* To motivate the sales team to achieve or exceed the daily dial and daily voice-time targets
* To monitor the Education Advisors calls and give daily improvement and enhancement feedback
* Monitor competition and identify new market opportunities
* To help the iheed Education Advisors to achieve personal / company goals & targets, increasing their
role satisfaction whilst driving company performance.
* To utilise performance management techniques to motivate the Education Advisor team and
enhance their negotiation tactics
* To collaborate closely with the Marketing team to ensure effective online lead generation and
conversion and creation of marketing tools
* To produce regular internal reports and updates to feed into weekly Trading Meetings


Education
* Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (Marketing, Business or other relevant disciplines)

Experience
* At least 5 years' experience in a sales management position
* Excellent Leadership and motivation skills
* Excellent communication and consultative sales skills.
* Persuasive relationship builder.
* Aptitude for using technology and CRM systems.
* Strong work ethic, self-motivated, punctual and highly organised.
* Customer service oriented.
