Location: Can be remote in Ireland (you need to be based in Ireland) with an occasional visit to the office or in Waterford / Dublin / Cork

We are looking for an experience Senior Infrastructure engineer to make sure that relevant support is given to the clients and projects delivered in timely manner.
You will be looking after project planning and implementation including virtual and physical server builds, creating cloud VM on private and public clouds, networking equipment configurations (firewall, switches, WiFi APs and controllers); providing remote technical assessments of IT infrastructure. You will also be a point of contact for level 3 escalations; provide cyber Security Audits; and more.
Skills:
* 3rd level Education or an equivalent - in IT / Computer Science
* Extensive Experience within IT sector in similar infrastructure related customer orientated roles - 5 years plus
* Project management experience
* Experience with virtual environment (preferably Hyper V)
* Experience with VPN's, Routing, Firewall / NAT rules, (preferably Fortigate and Draytek), AD and DNS troubleshooting experience
* Experience with configuring and managing RMM and Microsoft SCOM
* Experience with PowerShell scripting
* Experience with SQL database administration, support and troubleshooting skills
* Building and configuring Server hardware - including RAID configuration, SAN and Clusters support
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a team and on own initiative
* Excellent communication skills
