Our Shannon based client, a dynamic and innovative organisation in the technology sales industry, is currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner.

Salary €45,000- €55,000
In this role, the Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain process, ensuring maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction. Working closely with various stakeholders, you will be responsible for analysing demand, managing inventory levels, and optimising procurement activities. The successful candidate will need to have excellent analytical skills, the ability to anticipate market trends, and a genuine passion for driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales team to gather accurate demand forecasts and create robust supply plans to meet customer demands.
Analyse historical data, market trends, and internal factors to develop accurate demand forecasts for products and materials.
Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimise stock levels and minimise costs.
Identify potential risks within the supply chain and implement contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted product flow.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient procurement of materials and components.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiencies.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
Stay up to date with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practises in supply chain management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Supply Chain Planner or similar role. (3 Plus Years)
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and present complex data.
Proficiency in using supply chain management software and advanced Excel functions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
