About the Role:
Out global client is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join the Product Enablement team within IDC Infrastructure Enablement. In this role, you will work with a team of network engineers, software developers, and cross-functional partners to drive automation of network repair workflows across a large-scale global infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software delivery, exceptional project management skills, and experience managing programs at scale within fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute detailed project plans to deliver automation goals, ensuring alignment with engineers and stakeholders.
* Lead daily and weekly delivery scheduling activities to meet deadlines.
* Manage communication between internal teams, including network engineering, edge services, and leadership, as well as external partners.
* Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and adapt execution plans to address challenges effectively.
* Facilitate negotiation and collaboration between engineering teams on software functionality, delivery timelines, and trade-offs.
* Regularly update leadership on progress, risks, and support needs during monthly readouts.
* Supervise sprint cycles, track deliverables, and ensure resources and deadlines are clearly defined.
* Drive initiatives to replace manual repair workflows with automated solutions, ensuring seamless integration into the organization's infrastructure.
Essential Requirements:
* Senior or Management level of of hands-on program/project management experience in the global tech space.
* Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrated expertise in software delivery program management at scale.
* PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience in reporting and presenting to senior leadership.
* Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills to manage complex workflows and relationships.
* Familiarity with non-coding interfaces for deploying and managing automated tools.
* Proficiency in G-Suite or MS-Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Proven experience leading large-scale software delivery programs.
* Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills to manage complex workflows and relationships.
* Experience managing relationships with internal stakeholders such as engineers, edge services teams, and leadership.
* Familiarity with non-coding interfaces for deploying and managing automated tools.
Additional Information:
* This is a hybrid position and the offices are located in Dublin 2 (the docks).
* A valid full-time right to work in Ireland is required.
