Our client a leading supplier of tools and equipment are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Temporary Purchasing Administrator to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a keen eye for detail.
Temporary role for approximately 3 months
Pay rate €14 per hour.
Location: Blackpool Cork City
As the Temporary Purchasing Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the purchasing department in the day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
*Process purchase orders and ensure accuracy of product specifications, quantities, and pricing.
*Track supplier deliveries and communicate any delays or discrepancies to the relevant teams.
*Maintain and update purchasing records, including purchase orders, invoices, and other related documents.
*Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure the timely receipt of goods and resolve any invoicing or quality issues.
*Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and coordinating with suppliers for replenishment when necessary.
*Build strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms and resolve any disputes or concerns.
*Provide support to the purchasing team with ad hoc administrative tasks, such as maintaining supplier databases and generating reports.
*Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations.
Qualifications:
*Proven experience as a Purchasing Administrator or in a similar role.
*Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
*Proficient in using purchasing software and MS Office applications.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
*Knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and inventory control is preferred.
