Here at Adecco we are very excited to be working with a client based in Dublin city.

Looking for Assembly operators/warehouse operatives



Responsibilities:



* May include one of the following: picking, packing, scanning, kitting, counting products, VAS/ VAL or other duties.

* Must work strictly according to personal targets/ results and quality standards. .

* Read and follows detailed and defined instructions.

* Report direct task-related problems in straightforward situations.

* Consciously deals with the reduction of environmental impact in terms of waste, energy, water and fuel consumption.

* Diagnose and make repairs as needed.

* Ensure a safe working environment and all maintenance is done in a safe way.

* Perform physical & technical tasks of low to medium complexity on the Data Center Infrastructure equipment, as but not limited to without immediate supervision.

* Learn and apply diagnostic methods to troubleshoot data center equipment.

* Strictly follow all policies, processes and procedures related to the activities and datacenter environment

* Deployment of additional and new hardware (compute, storage, networking, etc) to augment existing capacity

* Machine maintenance, network maintenance, build, JiT, CCNR/SSNR, Decoms/RacksMoves, 5S, Upgrades.



Job Requirements :



▪ Basic/intermediate computer skills

▪ Able to identify basic to medium network components and perform fiber & cabling handling

▪ Ability to rapidly learn Standard Work Instructions and reach proficiency in three months (training and job shadowing to be provided).

▪ Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions in English

▪ Attention to detail.

▪ Work independently and ensure tasks are completed correctly and quickly.

▪ Must be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.

▪ Ability to lift/move (~25 kg / 50 kg) equipment as required.

▪ Knowledge of machines, equipment, warehouse facilities, and maintenance and repair methods and procedures.

▪ Experience in handling multiple projects and tight timelines.

▪ Practices of effective customer service.

▪ Focused on safety.



Preferred

▪ Education: Intermediate Vocational Education in maintenance, hardware repairs, or equivalent.

▪ Required Experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar role

▪ Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Linux OS, Windows, networking, and hardware disciplines.

▪ IT background with experience in IT hardware repair.
