We’re delighted to announce that Adecco has been ranked 10th place in the Large company category on the 2018 UK’s Best Workplaces™ list, following yesterday evening’s Great Places to Work awards extravaganza.

Set at East London’s popular venue Tobacco Dock and hosted by British impressionist Rory Bremner, the event saw thousands of employees from across the UK gather with their colleagues to celebrate their joint success.

About UK’s Best Workplaces™

Considered the ‘gold standard’ of employer awards, UK’s Best Workplaces™ exists to celebrate organisations who deliver excellence in both people management and engagement.

Honouring more than 100 entrants every year, this prestigious event uses a rigorous methodological approach to independently assess each and every business before making its final selection.

This includes the Culture Audit© – assessing the management and HR practices that create the organisation’s culture – as well as the Trust Index© employee survey, which seeks to measure how employees experience that culture.

As well as giving companies the opportunity for external recognition, UK’s Best Workplaces™ comes with several other benefits – including sharing of best practice, comparative analysis across other industries and gaining a better understanding of company culture from an employee’s perspective.

Why Adecco came out in the top 10

Alongside implementing best practice in people management, Adecco is proud to have cultivated a unique workplace culture built on trust and pride, which continues to drive its sustainable engagement and top business performance.

According to recent research, a great workplace provides 8 per cent greater productivity, 16 per cent greater profit margin, 12 per cent greater customer advocacy and 50 per cent fewer sick days – and with 87 per cent of employees less likely to leave an organisation, it’s well worth giving back what they put in.

At Adecco, our employees continue to rate us highly because we’re willing to go the extra mile for both our staff and our customers.
We’ve even been awarded Laureates in acknowledgement of five consecutive years on the UK’s Best Workplaces™ list.

Why employees count

Great Place to Work® is a UK-based consultancy specialising in workplace culture, which aims to help all organisations – whether large or small in size – create exceptional workplaces.

It believes that every employee deserves to feel trusted and valued in their role – and this is a value that Adecco shares as we constantly strive to provide staff with a respectful, collaborative and creative work environment.

To ensure all of our employees are well equipped to give their best, Adecco leaders and managers look to inspire and listen as well as thank, care and share team or organisational successes.

We’re extremely proud of this latest achievement and will continue to evolve and transform our business practices to retain our reputation as one of the UK’s best workplaces.
